Another playday of EPS Germany is over, so we will now recap what happened in the 7 matches on this week's map de_inferno. Of seven teams that were undefeated so far, six remained so, including the big 3, while five others are still looking for a win.
After an easy victory against mystical Lambda last week, mousesportswere once again unchallenged when they encountered Frankfurt 69ers. A 12-3 first half and quick finish in the second gave mouz a 16-3 win as they are continuing their dominance in the EPS with 28 wins in a row. Frankfurt 69ers have had a tough two weeks, meeting ALTERNATE and mouz after their positive start against snook, but next week won't be much easier as they will have to take on n!faculty.
Speaking of n!faculty, they also continued with good results, recording their 3rd victory in a match against ARSENIX. In that 16-5 win, last season's 3rd placed team didn't run into much resistance from ARSENIX, who might have made us expect otherwise by putting up a much better fight against ALTERNATE in their season opener.
TBHwas the biggest surprise last season when they had 9 wins in a row from the start and finished as 4th at the Finals. Although they made substantial changes to their lineup, this season also started very well for them. After three matches they have 2 wins and a draw, as their latest points came against myRevengein form of a 16-9 victory.
The only team alongside the big 3 to have won all their matches so far is You Don't Know Me, who defeated mTwthis week with a 16-11 score. However, in order to continue that streak, they will have to pass a tough test next week, when they meet ESC in Berlin at the 2nd Intel Friday Night Game of the season.
After two hard-fought draws, ESCfinally took all 3 points from a match. Their opponents were Hardware4u, who recorded their third loss in as many games, although they put up a good fight every time, including this one, when they lost 16:12.
In other matches, after 2 draws Bouncer4You were defeated by Tera in a close match 16-13, while Alternative recorded their first win against snook 16-12. ALTERNATE's match with mystical Lambdawas postponed for next week.

Player performances
The first place of top rated players this week is shared by two guys who both had a 1.89 rating. One of them is a former league-MVP, n!faculty's Jérôme "shiddy" Tóth, who played excellent in both halves of his team's win against newcomers ARSENIX, recording 24 kills in 21 rounds. The other one is one of mousesports' superstars, Manuel "Tixo" Makohl as he helped his team record another easy win with his 20 kills as CT in the first half versus Frankfurt 69ers.
Another player who stood out in n!faculty's convincing win against ARSENIX is Gerhard "gerdi" Grimm, as he actually topped the scoreboard with 25 kills, although he excelled mostly in the 1st half. So far this season, Grimm has shown that he is back in top form after practically skipping the entire last season, as this is already his second appearance among the weekly top5.
ESC defeated Hardware4u in a very close match, largely thanks to Bünyamin "neeky" Naziyok's performance. He was the top fragger for ESC in both halves, with a total of 31 kills in 28 rounds, continuing where he left off last week when he also played noticeably well and top-fragged for his team in their draw vs B4Y.
Unsurprisingly, multiple-times league-MVP, Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer once again found his place among the top rated players. After last week's great performance against mystical Lambda, he managed the same against Frankfurt 69ers collecting 20 kills in their 16-3 win.
Also worth a mention are two players who did great despite their team's close losses. Bouncer4You lost for the first time this season, but their 18-year old player Marcel "rAx" Klenner put up a great performance. The same can be said for Hardware4u's captain Eduard "eddy" Schmidt, who kept his team alive against ESC with great play, but they ended up losing their 3rd match in a row.
